With this tool, users can request to view, edit, transfer, or delete their personal data that is stored on your servers. After your consumers fill out the request form, we will send you the details of the request, along with a step-by-step checklist on how you should proceed.

1. How Does This Tool Help With GDPR Compliance?
While this tool is beneficial to any business who aims to show their commitment to user privacy and build customer engagement, we designed it specifically in response to the GDPR.
This new regulation, officially in effect on May 25th, sets new standards for how businesses should handle their users’ data. Our data management tool addresses three articles, in particular, of the GDPR:
Article 15 – Right to Access by the Data Subject
The data subject shall have the right to obtain from the controller confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him or her are being processed
Article 16 – Right to Rectification
The data subject shall have the right to obtain from the controller without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning him or her
Article 17 – Right to Erasure (Right to Be Forgotten)
The data subject shall have the right to obtain from the controller the erasure of personal data concerning him or her without undue delay and the controller shall have the obligation to erase personal data without undue delay
According to these sections of the GDPR, those who house the personal information of their users need to make it easy for those users to request various actions be taken related to their data. Our tool accounts for the fulfillment of each of these actions – access, edit, transfer, and erasure.

Step #4. We send you a follow-up reminder
As you need to comply with a valid user request within 30 days, we’ll send you a reminder one week before that deadline to ensure that you’ve achieved the appropriate processes.
