Building your brand is integral in today’s online economy – not only for brand recognition, but for establishing your company’s unique personality in an overly saturated internet marketplace.
Branding in 2017 is a much different animal than it used to be. No longer can you get away with simply crafting an appealing logo and a catchy slogan.
With the ever-increasing prevalence of online marketing efforts and social media platforms, consumers have access and vision into almost every crevasse and corner of your company.
It’s vital to ensure that every aspect of your business – even your legal policies – aligns with the unique personality you’ve cultivated through your branding.
Termly is right there with you.
In our latest software update, we’ve rolled out a brand new feature that allows you to completely customize the look and feel of your policies to better suit your brand’s unique personality. From text color and size, to fonts and background colors, the appearance of your 100% attorney-crafted legal policies is now completely under your control.
Stay fully compliant with state, federal, and international regulations, while also maintaining the unique identity you’ve established for your brand with Termly’s new customizable policies feature.
How It Works
Tailoring the look and feel of your legal policies to suit your company’s needs has never been easier. Just follow the five steps below to tailor your policies to your brand:
Step 1. Publish Your Policy
Step 2. Edit Your Policy From the Termly Dashboard
You will be taken to the dashboard, where you can see and edit your website information and all of your completed policies. Simply click “Edit” next to the policy you would like to customize.
Step 3. Create a New Theme
This will bring you to a document preview, where you will have full control over the look and feel of your legal policy. In the document preview window, click on the “Theme” pulldown menu and select “Create New Theme”.
Step 4. Customize Your Policy
Selecting “Create New Theme” will reveal the customization options beneath the pulldown menu.
There are different tabs in which you can customize the title, subtitle, headings, and body text. There is also an option to change the background color of the policy.
Step 5. Apply Your New Theme
When you’ve put the finishing touches on your policy and are satisfied that the look and feel of your document aligns with your brand, click the “Apply Theme” button in the bottom right of your screen.
This will bring up a popup window that will ask you to name and save your new theme. With Termly, you can save as many themes as you need, so you can always be in style and on point with your branding.
Once you click “Save”, your policy will be updated to display your new, customized settings.
And that’s it! So easy! By following the five simple steps above, you can customize your legal policies to suit your branding needs in mere minutes. Termly understands the needs of SMBs, and we’ll be right there in your corner as you grow.
Make sure you keep a lookout for other cool features that are on the way:
- Multi-Language Support: Users will be able to choose between US and UK versions of their policies, which will be completely compliant with the laws and regulations of their respective locations.
- Streamlined Policy Builder: The new, redesigned policy builder will be sleeker, more concise, and easier to use than any other generator out there.
