You can report a CCPA violation by using this consumer complaint form from the California Privacy Protection Agency (CPPA).

You can also submit complaints by callings the California Attorney General’s office or sending them a letter.

A CCPA violation report should contain the following information:

• Your contact information.
• The contact information of the business you are reporting.
• An explanation of how the business violated the CCPA.
• A description of when and how the violation occurred.
• Any supporting evidence.

If a business is found guilty of violating CCPA rules, they may be fined up to $2,500 for minor violations, or up to $7,500 per intentional or repeat violations.
