Binding Corporate Rules definition (noun)
1.
Binding Corporate Rules (BCR) are the EU policies that specify how international companies, organizations, and groups transfer protected personal data out of the EU. BCR are complex and require between 6 to 9 months to be approved. They should not be considered “blanket policies” for all data transfers.
